From halting drilling efforts in the Arctic and organizing a 20,000 person climate strike, to fighting for our forests and stopping dozens of fossil fuel projects across the region — we’ve accomplished a lot as a climate justice community in Portland. It’s now been ten years since 350PDX formed as a grassroots organization for climate justice, and there’s a lot to celebrate!

What to expect?
Hosted at The Redd on Salmon, this event will feature interactive art displays that showcase our power as a collective movement over the last decade. Then while reflecting on the last decade, we’ll discuss what our future as a local climate justice movement will look like over the next one. As we approach key turning points in the climate crisis and runaway racialized capitalism, what successes and campaigns will we have hoped to accomplish by 2033? What is our vision for the future?
All are invited to this celebration of movement-building for climate justice in Portland! Past, present, and future volunteers and community members will gather for food, art, music, a silent auction, and more.
Can you volunteer?
We can’t make this event possible without our awesome volunteers! If you’re interested in volunteering, please email kiera@350pdx.org. All volunteers offering 2 hours or more time will receive a free entry ticket, which includes dinner and drinks.
350PDX wouldn’t be where it is now without the thousands of volunteers, supporters, and neighbors that have been involved for over the last decade. This November 2nd, we’ll come together to celebrate our past, learn and take action together in this present moment, and dream up a shared future where we continue fighting for the climate, the planet, and each other.
Hope to see you there!
