Thursday, June 15th, ReForest, Social Forestry Day at VBC 2023 5pm-9:30pm (Bridgespace, 133 SE Madison St)
The ReForest VBC night will bring together a diverse coalition of forestry, forest defense, and social forestry practitioners to give an incredible seminar about forestry and old growth forest science in the Pacific North West, all connected by a common thread of Community Forest Management!!! We will earn about the forest industry and ownership, forest defense work, land transference campaigns, and strategies for working with trees and forests for community benefit.
We will have a film screening of ‘Elemental,’ a brand new documentary on the most updated forest fire science, followed by multiple forest defense and social forestry speakers rounding out a collective seminar on community forestry
