Training #3: Make it Beautiful: Using Art in Actions
Date & Time: Thurs, Sept 29, 5-630 PT / 6-730 MT / 7-830 CT / 8-930 ET
What: We will learn how to use a variety of arts to make our actions creative, participatory, and impactful: We will look at how to use song & music, street murals, signs, banners, patches, and elements of fires and floods in our actions.
We’ll cover the basics of wheat pasting, sign making, and pop-up art shows using the new Blame Wall Street poster art (order a set below). We will also be joined by Alexandra Blakely who will lead a teach-in of the new climate movement song, Return–and offer tips on including song and music in your action.
