TIAA, and other Wall St. corporations, are bankrolling the climate crisis through their funding of logging, deforestation, and fossil fuels. TIAA, a massive pension fund for teachers, owns Nuveen Natural Capital and GreenWood Resources, logging companies that are clearcutting carbon-rich forests, our best natural climate solution, across the state and around the globe. TIAA and Nuveen are driving the climate crisis and threatening local communities, from polluting watersheds in the Pacific Northwest to destructive land grabs in Brazil. This is against the wishes of TIAA clients and against TIAA’s own rhetoric. Join us in taking action against TIAA for their destruction and hypocrisy!
