In less than one week, Sun Day events will kick off all across the nation. (Now over 350 events in 44 states!) Join us as we encourage a joyous turnout in Portland on Sunday, September 21st!
Like you, we care about many things in this world and wear many hats: we are moms & dads who want to offer hope to our children and their future; we are Americans worried about our country; we are organizers inspired by people power; and we are scientists and campaigners who know we have climate solutions ready to go. We know the future is solar (and other clean energies) and our job collectively is to build visible and vocal public support for why solar is smart, strategic and financially savvy. We are trying something new with Sun Day: shining a light on the positive and practical path forward.
In the Rose City, our Sun Day Rally will be uniquely Portland. Experience the Portland Waterfront transformed into a celebration of clean energy, with powerful speakers, more than 25 vendor tables, a parade across the Hawthorne Bridge, a celebration of music and art, and a chance to learn more about how everyone can contribute to the Sun Power Revolution. We will demand a rapid, equitable transition to abundant clean energy and the jobs and economy of the future.
