Join Solar Oregon and 350PDX to learn more about fossil fuel divestment and explore alternatives funds that are building a more sustainable future.

The divestment movement is gaining momentum. The country of Ireland, New York City, and Oxford University are recent high-profile examples where leaders are stepping up and taking their money away from the biggest polluters on the planet. These large successes are powered by the choices individuals make to ensure that their investments are aligned with their values.

Special guests Dan Orzech from the Clean Power Cooperative  and Phil Richman from Ten Bridge Partners will lead a conversation about investing in local solar energy projects and ESG (environmental, social and governance) funds. They will be able to answer any questions you have about how responsible investing does and does not differ from investing in fossil fuels and how social responsibility impacts value.

Investment in local projects offers you a way to see the direct impact your money has on the community.
