Since 2022, the all-volunteer team of Rumble On The River has presented 32 free community forums in neighborhoods throughout Portland. Rumbles bring together expert voices to lay out the latest information on the CEI Hub, Columbia & Willamette River ecosystems, false and effective solutions to climate disruption, transportation, urban forestry, shade equity, risk-bonding, community-building, data center expansion, salmon restoration, emergency preparedness and other timely topics. Forty-five social justice, environmental, faith-based and neighborhood organizations co-sponsor Rumbles by supporting outreach efforts and tabling materials at each forum.
