Rose Quarter Freeway Expansion Public Hearing

March 12, 2019 @ 4:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Oregon Convention Center
777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd

The Oregon Department of Transportation is hosting a Public Hearing about their proposed $500 million, 1.8 mile Rose Quarter Freeway Widening Project.

And we’d love for you to join us in speaking out against this project.

See Facebook event here.

This project is directly antithetical to Oregon’s carbon reduction goals, creates adverse public health impacts to students at neighboring Harriet Tubman Middle School, and by all accounts will have virtually no impacts on recurring traffic congestion.

4:00pm No More Freeways Rally and Press Conference
4:30pm Sign Up to Testify
5:00pm Event Begins, ODOT presentation
5-8:00pm Public Comment Period Taken
