Come along for a rally on Saturday, November 17th from 11am-noon at Esther Short Park (corner of Columbia & 6th St.) to #ProtectOurCoast against new offshore drilling and exploration that is proposed off the West Coast. The next iteration of the offshore oil and gas leasing plan is expected to come out soon, so we need to speak out now!

Offshore drilling and exploration threatens our very way of life in Washington, from jeopardizing our beautiful beaches to impacting our thriving coastal economy reliant on fishing, recreation and tourism.

Individuals and businesses in Vancouver have been mobilizing over the past months to show local and state public officials that offshore drilling would negatively impact Washington’s environment, wildlife, and coastal communities. Elected officials must publicly oppose the proposed federal plan that opens the entire Pacific coast to offshore drilling and exploration.

Come to our rally to #ProtectOurCoast to show your support for clean oceans, listen to prominent guest speakers, and learn about the issue!

Rally co-sponsors: KBOO Community RadioKXRWvancouver, and 350PDX
