Join us at the last public hearing to stop the World’s Largest Fracked Gas to Methanol Refinery, proposed in Kalama, WA.
Fossil fuel companies are trying to build world’s largest fracked gas to methanol refinery in Kalama. It would require a new fracked gas pipeline, which may span the entire length of our state, and pollute as much as 1.2 million cars. If built, the refinery would use millions of gallons of water from the Columbia river each day, pollute our air with cancer causing emissions, and has a high chance of explosion during an earthquake.
Permitting agencies will hear from the public about whether this project should be approved or denied. Join us in packing the room and demanding they deny this project!
