Join us Friday (May 20), for the biggest youth-led Climate Strike in over two years! We’ll call on elected officials at City Hall to sign a climate action pledge and #ConfrontClimateVillains, then march to Revolution Hall for a huge Climate Festival. Want to join a 350PDX group at the strike? We’ll be giving out 350PDX bandanas so you can show you’re part of the crew. Find us at 11am outside City Hall, at the SE corner of SW Madison and SW 4th Ave.
In the fight for climate justice in Oregon, we’re up against some powerful interests, or Climate Villains. The fossil fuel industry wants to confuse and divide us – as we’ve seen in NW Natural’s misinformation campaign to greenwash “natural” gas. The Portland Business Alliance (PBA) is actively undermining the Portland Clean Energy Fund in service of their corporate shareholders. Zenith Energy is still exporting oil by rail from their Portland terminal, and the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) continues their climate-disastrous freeway widening projects.
We’re gathering in huge numbers tomorrow to fight against these Climate Villains and take our power back. In these moments, we build the power we will need to create the just, resilient world we all deserve.

City Hall at 11 am on Friday, May 20th. After a rally, we will march to Revolution Hall across the river for a celebratory festival with trainings and opportunities to get more involved and plugged into the movement. There are much more exciting pieces in the works that we’re looking forward to sharing with you soon, but we wanted to share a save-the-date with you now!
All are welcome and encouraged to join youth climate leaders this May 20th for the Climate Strike. We have felt the effects of the climate crisis. We have breathed in the wildfire smoke and felt the heat from more extreme heat waves we know will only get worse in the coming years — unless we take action now. We need our elected officials to fight for our communities and our future as much as we do. Let’s be in solidarity with the youth leaders organizing this strike and show up together.
