Welcome to the 350PDX Calendar

This is where all events, trainings, film screenings, art builds and team meetings will appear. Everything on this calendar is open to anyone, so feel free to come along to anything and everything, even if you're just testing out a new team. Some ask you to RSVP, and others you can just show up.

Partner Event: Climate Cafe PDX

March 14 @ 6:15 pm - 7:45 pm

LOCATION at Belmont Library, email climatecafepdx@gmail.com with any questions!
A place to process climate related emotions with people in our community. Free and open to all.
**Masks provided and required**
WHAT (IS A CLIMATE CAFE)
-An informal, open, respectful, confidential space to safely share emotional responses and reactions related to the climate and environmental emergency (i.e. a “container”).
-A space for exploration of thoughts, feelings and experiences rather than what we are DOING about the climate crisis.
-A quiet, reflective experience – a haven from usual busyness and activity.
Note: a Climate Cafe is NOT a clinical space, or a replacement for therapy.
WHO (IS HOSTING THIS CAFE)
My name is Rissa (she/her). I have years of experience facilitating groups in various settings, and have an interest in climate emotions, group support structures, and the intersection of systemic issues.
I have been trained by Climate Psychology Alliance NA to facilitate climate cafes, although they are not an endorser of this event.
