“Opportunities on Thin Ice: Climate Change Theatre Action”
Monday, October 16, 2017 from 7 – 8 p.m.
McGuire Theatre, Warner Pacific College
This event is Warner Pacific’s contribution to world-wide theatre actions taking place between Oct. 1 and Nov. 18 in support of this year’s international climate conference in Bonn, Germany. Fifty playwrights from twenty-five different cultures wrote five-minute plays in response to the question, “How can we turn the challenges of climate change into opportunities?” Several of these plays will be presented in readers’ theatre style followed by a discussion with the audience and Maya, staff organizer from 350pdx. There will be selfies and a chance for chocolate!

At Pacific Warner, Park in the big parking lot in front of a long low building. There’s bike parking by the porch. To get to the theatre, enter and turn left past the little cafe counter. The theatre is at the end of that hall, room number is 161 (we think).
