Over the past few month’s, Metro and their 35-member Transportation Taskforce have been shaping a regional transportation funding measure that will go before voters in November 2020.
On Wednesday they have an important meeting where they will be deciding which programs will be included in this ballot measure.
Some great community voices will be testifying at this meeting, including the Getting There Together Coalition, Sunrise Movement PDX, The Street Trust, OPAL and 350PDX. We’re hoping for a strong showing of support for these testifiers by filling the room, to make sure Metro invests $20bn on sustainable equitable programs and projects, and not on fossil fuel car infrastructure!
