“The film, produced by Standing Rock Sioux member Benita Moore and her British husband Darren, skillfully captures the spirit of the tribe’s 3-year fight against the plant.” – Frank Hopper writing for Indian Country Today. The film also highlights the region-wide effort to halt major new fracked gas infrastructure, a fight that continues with the GTN Xpress project proposed in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Following the film, producers Darren Moore and Benita Moore will join a panel including local activists to discuss the Tacoma LNG controversy and the campaign to stop the GTN Xpress fracked gas pipeline expansion.
We hope to see you there!
