April’s Action Night will be focused on Direct Action in the Trump 2.0 Era: How to exercise our right to protest strategically and safely in these times.
We will explore what taking action for the Earth has looked like over the past 50+ years since the first Earth Day and what we can do now in this time of growing government repression. We’ll explore these questions with each other and attorneys Kenneth Kreusher, of the Oregon Justice Resource Center, and Brenna Bell of 350PDX. We’ll also share resources for taking more bold action!
There will be pizza, drinks, and snacks! RSVPs are encouraged so we can get a rough estimate of attendance to determine food and drink, but RSVP-ing is not required, come regardless!
Each month, we gather for Action Night to learn about ways you can take action and to gather with a community of great folks who care about climate and environmental justice. Food and drinks are provided, and you can also bring a snack to share if you’d like. This is a great way to get connected to the 350PDX community! Check out our newsletter and social media to find out about each month’s topic.
