350 Spokane’s “Kiss the Ground” film event

January 28, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Come join 350 Spokane for an online screening of Kiss the Ground, followed by a panel discussion to further explore and expand upon the film’s introduction to restorative farming, and the role this has to play in combating the climate crisis. The panel includes Chris Bachman and Mike Peterson of The Lands Council, as well as Beth Robinette, co-founder of LINC, a local worker-farmer-owned cooperative food hub.
About the film: Kiss the Ground is a hopeful film about the ways in which soil can help us combat the climate crisis through regenerative agriculture. The movie explores the ways in which regenerative agriculture can revive farmer prosperity, reduce flooding & drought, replenish fresh water sources, reduce fire hazards, combat global warming, recreate regional access to nutrient-dense food, reduce toxic pesticides & fertilizers, reduce dead zones & water pollution, combat extinction, and reconnect humanity & nature. You can watch the trailer for the film here: https://kissthegroundmovie.com/
