| Oregon has an exciting opportunity to create good local jobs, reduce pollution, and improve energy resiliency by passing a bill to transition to 100% clean energy. Can you join us at an important hearing on Monday, March 22 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm to show your support for the Oregon Clean Energy for All bill?
The Oregon Clean Energy for All bill (House Bill 2021) will require all of Oregon’s electricity to come from clean energy resources, like wind and solar, by 2040. This bill has critical labor standards to ensure new jobs in clean energy are well paid and include benefits while also incentivizing community-based projects that increase energy independence, affordability, and disaster resilience across Oregon.
The Oregon House Committee on Energy & Environment is hosting a hearing to learn more about this bill and hear perspectives from communities across Oregon. It’s going to take all of us to ensure Oregon commits to 100% clean energy and all the benefits that come with it.
