CLEAN ENERGY JOBS LOBBY DAY & NOON RALLY
Oregon State Capitol, Salem Feb. 6TH, 2019 9 am – 4 pm
THE BILL
Clean Energy Jobs is a policy to put a limit and price on climate pollution from the largest polluters in the state. It will secure greenhouse gas reductions and reinvestment into communities across Oregon to create clean energy jobs and a thriving economy, especially in communities that need it most.
THE RALLY & LOBBY DAY
On Feb. 6th, we’ll show legislators massive support for the Clean Energy Jobs bill. A big rally at noon and then meetings with legislators to give them the courage to stand up to industry and pass a bill to make Oregon a leader in protecting the climate.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
RSVP for Clean Energy Jobs Lobby Day on the Renew Oregon website. You can also arrange a carpool ride, or to drive. Renew Oregon and the Oregon League of Conservation Voters can arrange for you to talk directly to your legislators with other constituents that same day. They will even provide lunch!
GO TO THE RALLY AT NOON EVEN IF YOU CAN”T MAKE THE ENTIRE SESSION!!
