Candidate statement:
Congestion
We need a new multi-modal freeway between Portland and Vancouver to take freight and commuters out of our neighborhoods, connecting our ports and industrial area together and relieving congestion. Infrastructure is important and for new vehicles too
Focus on using less utilities and look for new ways to add renewable to government outbuildings
Ask electrical companies to put out a bond to add electrical outlets for 220 on all properties with the ability to charge different users.
Environment Justice is inclusiveness, educate, and listening. Environment Justice is process outreach has to have IN-REACH sending out information is only a part of the work. Providing a space where all sides are in the same room so stakeholder understand each other and help create solutions that are balanced.
A library of government studies, citizen comments, and handout that is searchable for tracing and research. Having a one place that you can send comments on a single subject and it is forward to all the committees and elected officials.
