Portland has a unique and exciting election coming up this fall: we are electing a new mayor and a brand new city council in a new government structure! We’ll also be using ranked-choice voting to select 12 councilors in 4 districts. With the possibility for so many new Portland leaders to emerge, this is an unprecedented opportunity to ensure our future government takes climate justice seriously.
Join us as we educate city council candidates, build community power in each district, and develop and share a climate justice platform and voter guide. Below you’ll find: a list of upcoming events, our Climate Conversations survey, a form to reach us directly, and more!
Climate Justice Voter Events and Tours
Throughout 2024, we’re hosting climate justice focused events in each district and partnering with other groups for climate and environmental justice tours.
