Hi everyone,
Welcome to the 350PDX newsletter! Read on for ways to take action for climate justice, event opportunities, and more. But first — A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to our Spring Sustaining Donor Drive! With support from the community, we’re able to keep ramping up our campaigns for climate justice while knowing we have solid financial footing for the months and years ahead. So from everyone on staff with 350PDX — thank you! We’re so grateful to be a part of this work with you all, fighting for a just, resilient future, while together building a beautiful community along the way.

Tell your Legislators to Support Climate Justice in the 2023 Legislative Session
Right now, we have an opportunity to win important changes across all of Oregon in the 2023 Legislative Session. 350PDX has a list of bills we’re urging our Senators and Representatives to champion during the session. If passed, these bills would have sweeping, tangible benefits for our communities and our climate. Join us in calling on our legislators to champion these bills!
Tell your Legislators to say NO to the Domestic Terrorism Bill
We can’t let Oregon pass a bill that would leave the door wide open for the state to wrongfully charge social and environmental justice activists with “domestic terrorism.” Will you join us in calling on our legislators to oppose the Domestic Terrorism Bill (HB 2772)?

Join us for the 7th in a series of community forums on Zenith Energy and the CEI Hub. A coalition of nearly 30 neighborhood, river and climate advocacy organizations sponsor this series to increase public awareness of the safety, health and seismic risks associated with the Critical Energy Infrastructure (CEI) Hub and Zenith Energy. Each forum is different in its approach to examining the 6-mile stretch of aging tank farms that line the North Reach of the Willamette River within a seismic liquefaction zone. This will also be the Fossil Fuel Resistance Teams’ meeting next week, and all are welcome to visit the forum with the team.
